Okay, as I said...
Did you get it? I thought all weekend about it.
G-d frequently asks questions in an order that seems reversed but there's a reason to it. The first question was who said we needed saving. Hmmm? Anyone?
Okay, no, proceed to the second, who or what do we need saving from?
Come on... The answer for BOTH questions is... well, go look in a mirror.

Typical answer
"we need to be saved from ourselves"
Not true
How about "we need to honest with ourselves"
I dont think we were created to be flawless.
Even though Ann Coulter's says that Christians are "perfected Jews", I'm not convinced such an animal exists.
"we need to be saved from ourselves"
"we need to be honest with ourselves"
What is the difference between them?
If we lie to ourselves then are we okay still or not? I say not.
Furthermore, the latter still presumes a preceding state logically wherein we were not honest with ourselves. Therefore, we are not okay and need saving.
Well, that's about as clear as I can make my idea right now. What it boils down to for me is... which is the biggest threat to us? Something else? Someone else? Or us? And how do we know? What is telling us that?
I almost forgot... Ann Coulter is just plain batty. I may not like liberal leftism, but I am not on her side of the aisle either.
